Lloyd Paul Starkweather

	Lloyd Paul Starkweather, 82, of rural Robinson, IL died Monday, April 17, 2000 at 12:55 p.m. at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson.  He was born July 13, 1917 in Cobden, IL the son of George Theodore Starkweather and Nell May Ballard Starkweather.  He retired in 1975 as a bookkeeper for the coal mines.  He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II.  he was a member of the Highland Ave. Baptist Church, Robinson, the DuQuoin First Baptist Church, DuQuoin and the First Baptist Church, Channon, IL.
	Paul married Imogene Daily December 22, 1939 and she survives.  He is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Joe Titsworth, Robinson and Dianna and Carl Burford, Olympia, WA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Wesley and Brenda Starkweather, Sand Jose, CA and Stephen & Kathryn Mostellar Starkweather, Highland, IL; 11 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; his sister, Juanita Russell, Park Forest, IL and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, George Starkweather.
	Funeral services were Wednesday, April 19 at 7 p.m. at the Highland Avenue Baptist Church.  Visitation was from 5 until 7 p.m. at the church prior to the service.  Burial was in the DuQuoin Sunset Memorial Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.  Visitation was at the cemetery from 1 until 1:30 p.m.  Brother Jerry McDaniel was in charge of services.  The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson was in charge of arrangements.
	Memorials may be made to the Highland Avenue Baptist Church, Robinson.
